Reclaiming Lives

[A]LL’S WELL HOME is a non-profit organization offering a full recovery program in a non co-ed live-in environment for men and women ages 18 and over who are or who have been addicted to drugs or alcohol, who are victims of domestic violence or abuse, or who are dealing with behavioral issues.

ADDICTION IS TREATABLE… BUT IT IS A PROCESS

Overcoming addiction requires 3 things: self-awareness, self-control, and being watchful, but you need to understand the problem and its roots. That means you’ll need to take a personal journey inside yourself and your past to uncover those things.

At times that can be a painful trip, but if you don’t understand the problems you’ll never understand the triggers that could cause you to relapse. Your goal is to develop the personal strength of character and the self-control needed to overcome your weaknesses and to resist the cravings and temptations that will come your way, but you’ll always need to be watchful because addiction is unforgiving. Any slip-ups might lead to relapses that could have long lasting consequences.

BELINDA SAYS “ALL’S WELL HOME HELPED ME REBUILD MY LIFE”

“Before I arrived I had been through 6 different programs, but I failed every time because the programs did not work (for me). Every time I left I drank even though I really didn’t want to. It was as if I had a hole in my soul I was not able to fill.”

“All’s Well Home helped me to rebuild my life from the ground up – very much the same as a person would build a home – from the ground up. I learned … how to deal with the feelings that kept me drinking to dull the pain. I even learned some of the computer skills which have been a major part of my employment success.”
